I am Anthony William Augustine. I am 50% Italian, 25% Scottish, and 25% German. My Father was Italian, his Father, Antonio "Duke" D'Agostino was a farmer from Villa Santa Maria in Calabria, Italy. He came to this country alone on a ship named Barbarosa. His name was changed to Anthony Augustine when he came through Ellis Island in 1913. My father's mother, Mary "Rose" Giudice, was from the province of Umbria in northern Italy.

My mother is German and Scottish. Her mother, my grandmother, Alice MacPhail was Scottish and her ancestors have been traced to Paisley, Scotland. Her father, my grandfather, Frederick Augustus Maxmillian Steinman was born in Paterson, NJ. His roots have been traced back to the civil war era.
